Hello Everyone,
I know it has been a while since I have posted anything.  Sorry about that.
Like the rest of the North East June and July were kind of rainy.  Though we have been lucky and the rain usually comes at night, so everyone can play outside during the day.  Windham Country Club is the best condition I have ever seen it.  The grounds crew and the rain have made it a great time to go out and play golf.
July forth was a great weekend as far as the weather was concerned.  Our float this year was "Alice in Thompson Land."  Unfortunately, we did not win the best float this year.  Next year we will bring the trophy back to where it belongs.
Anyway, it is great to see familiar face and some new ones.  I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.  I hope that we will get less rain as time goes one.
Watch for a Labor Day Weekend Special COMING SOON!  I mean REAL SOON!!!

Opening weekend has come and gone.  It was great to see familiar faces and some new ones as well.  I’d like to thank everyone who joined us for opening weekend, it was a great time.  The weather was nice, the people were great, and now we are official open for the season!

A special thank you to the Muldowney family who had their second family reunion here at The Thompson House.  Everyone seemed to have a great time and it was great to see generations of the family come together once again.  We hope you enjoyed being here as much as we enjoyed having you here.  Hopefully we will see you again next year.

Again thank you to everyone else who was here as well.  It was true great to have you all here. Especially with the weather we had, and Jimmy Walsh being able to play music outside for everyone.

I’m looking forward to this coming season and I can’t wait to see everyone again.  Don’t forget to call now to book your room for the season.

I’M BACK!  I know it’s been a while since there has been a blog entry, but there will be more to come.  I hope every enjoyed their winter and is ready now for the 2009 season.  Everyone has been busy getting ready and cleaning up after winter has begun.  It is nice to be talking to people on the phone setting up reservations for this year.  I hope everyone has sent in their deposit!  If you haven’t sent in your deposit yet and still plan on coming up, don’t panic, just give us a call and let us know.  If you received a pre-confirmation for the upcoming season and can’t make if for some reason just give us a call.  We love hearing from our guests.  Don’t forget we open May 22, and we still have rooms available if you want to come up and join us.  See you all soon!
